A Spatio-Temporal Dynamic Visualization Method of Time-Varying Wind Fields Based on Particle System

The particle system is widely used in vector field feature visualization due to its dynamics and simulation. However, there are some defects of the method based on Euler fields, such as unclear expression discontinuous temporal expression, so cannot effectively express characteristics wind scale. We propose a Lagrangian spatio-temporal interpolation solve these problems, which realizes fusion time-varying data WebGL shader. Firstly, linear algorithm interpolate obtain continuous dense according at adjacent moments. Then, we introduce analysis study structure optimize effect Runge–Kutta algorithms. Finally, adopt nonlinear color mapping with double standard deviation (2SD) improve features. experimental results indicate that achieves comprehensive visual rendering frame rate greater than 45. methods can render particles smoothly stable outstanding uniformity when expressing dynamic field.
